PROJECT LIFE ORGANISATION AND A GIVEAWAY

In order to be better organised for Project Life 2012, I have set up my "station" of PL goodies that I will head towards when filling in my pages. And of course whatever is on my desk is fair game to going into my 2012 album. The container is from IKEA for just $2, with it's original intent to be a drawer organiser.

Let me take you through my bits and how I have arranged all my things.

First up, washi/paper tape. A mixture of American Crafts, MT Tape and 7 Gypsies accquired over the years. I have a bigger stash then this but these are the colours that I think will work well with my "in my head" project life colour scheme.

Tags, PL cards and various miscellany that will fit into the 3x4 pockets. This is where having a stash "helped". The Jenni bowlin memo pads are from pretty long ago and the October Afternoon cards are from quite a while back and the snapshots with a camera card has my heart fully.

As I have been destashing, I also found papers that I knew I wouldn't use on a layout, because it was too busy, but would fit PL. So those have been cut down to size and prepared to be used. I also found Melissa Frances journaling tags which would work perfect. In front is the Smash datestamp as well as a normal office date stamp. All 4x6 cards and scraps will go here.

Some of the stamps that I assembled for PL as well as other bits. The stamps at the far back are Autumn Leaves, designed by Jenni Bowlin, with he said, she said on it, perfect for PL. Also the Tim Holtz Adage tickets will add perfect little touches.

Project Life is a line of products by Becky Higgins, and can be used for documentation of daily life or anything else you may want. I am using it to remember the year and take more photos of  my everyday. Follow my PL journey hereFor those who live in Asia, you can get your PL supplies from Scraplicious.

If you have made it this far, you are in for a treat and this is why. I received a badge making machine during christmas, along with supplies to make 25mm size badges (yes we use the metric scale here in SG)  This is after someone saw my "obsession" with October Afternoon Tin Pins.  So I tried my hand at making some designs, things that would go with PL and scrapbooking.

Here's an upclose look : sayings and cameras (do excuse this slightly poor photography due to no light here at home, I was excited to share)

What do you think?

*****please note that giveaway is now closed*****
Well for a start to thank my blog followers, those who have been following my blog, drop me an email at piecedpapersATgmail.com and I will send you a couple. If there is any colour you would like in particular, let me know.

For everyone else, if you would like to get a set of these badges I have created (all the sayings and choice of two cameras), leave a comment below and suggest some phrases/icons which you think would be good, especially to document life. I'll draw a winner by 13 January.

If you would let me know if you think that there would be a commercial demand for this, let me know too, as support will be appreciated. I haven't decided what to do yet, but so far I'm just enjoying making them. Oh and you never know when I might do a giveaway to my followers as and when I get mojo to make a bunch.
